The retro vibe of this sleek sterling cuff is inspired by the colorful Fordite material at it's center.  Fordite is repurposed car paint recovered years back from automobile paint rooms.  It was named Fordite because much of it came from Michigan Ford plants.  The paint would build up resulting in thick prismatic chunks.  This waste material was regularly cleaned off and much of it was destroyed, the pieces that remain are rare and collectable.  I love using local materials when I can in my work and, being a Michigan gal, fordite is one of my favorites.

This is a one of a kind hand fabracated sterling cuff bracelet made in Grand Haven Michigan.
