How does Metmerize work?
Metmerize is a curated marketplace exclusively for high quality and handmade metal arts and jewelry. We encourage artists around the world to list their products under these categories: jewelry, sculpture, furniture, home accessories, home décor, 3D arts and recycled arts.
Metmerize’s services promote the appreciation of metalwork as an art form through featuring artists and their exceptional art pieces on its platform. Metmerize believes metal artists and jewelry designers who spend excessive amount of time and energy on the creation process of their pieces deserve to have a professional online marketplace.
Metmerize is here to fulfill this demand by representing these artists in an upscale venue.
When you register on Metmerize, you can share your business, motivations, inspirations and background. Also you can list your items, write about them, price them and sell them globally.
Metmerize’s goal is to promote and showcase these arts to an audience who might not be able to discover them easily.


What should I do when I receive an order?
When a buyer purchases an item, we handle the payments. Sellers will receive an Email including all the details of the product they have sold, buyer’s name, shipping address and necessary information. Then the seller must ship the item according to the shipping information on the item’s description and mark the item as sold.
Metmerize will hold the payment until we receive the shipment information, after this period, we deduct the 15% transaction fee of the sale price (shipping fee and tax is not included) and transfer the funds to the seller. We will transfer funds to the seller’s PayPal account.


What type of control do I have over my shop?
You have complete control over your shop as far as writing about your story, business, motivations and inspirations, describing your products, uploading pictures, pricing your items, describing refund, return and exchange policy and setting up shipping fees.


Who handles shipping?
Sellers are responsible to ship your order based on the processing time or deliver it on time, as you listed on your account. Sellers are responsible to fill in your orders and to be able to provide Metmerize or the buyer with a valid proof of shipping, and proof of delivery for items shipped within the Unites States including shipping or tracking number.
Ship your items promptly after they are sold, items must be shipped no later than 30 days of purchase unless otherwise specified in your processing time.
Charge a reasonable and accurate shipping cost. In order to avoid loss of any kind to your shipment and to minimize the risks, you may purchase insurance services for packages you ship.

Who is responsible for taxes?
As a seller, you are responsible for paying all fees and applicable taxes associated with using Metmerize. Remittance to appropriate authorities within the regulations and laws of your country remains the sole responsibility and liability of you.
By using Metmerize you agree that Metmerize is not responsible for determining taxation applicable to your business and that you will ensure all proper taxes are remitted to the tax authorities of your country.


What’s the refund, return and exchange policy?
Since Metmerize is a Multi-Vendor marketplace, each seller is able to describe their own return, refund and exchange policy. Buyers are responsible to read the information written on each item before purchasing from sellers.


What are Metmerize’s fees?
Becoming a member, browsing through Metmerize and accessing your account whether you are a seller or buyer is free. You are allowed to list as many items as you want, free of charge.
When an item sells, there is 15% transaction fee on the final sale price (shipping fee not included).
If you are not a resident of Unites States, we require you to list your price as its equivalent in USD. The transaction fee will be 15% of the item’s price converted to USD.
Metmerize is entitled to change fees at anytime, these changes are effective after Metmerize provides you with at least 14 days’ notice by posting the changes on its website and sending it to registered sellers who provided valid Email addresses.
Exception: The service fee for artists who list their items under recycled category is reduced to 9% in order to promote recycling.


How to become a featured artist on the homepage?
Just by registering you profile and starting you shop on Metmerize, you automatically enroll in our members’ directory list. Metmerize’s editors will decide who will be the featured artist of the week and therefore you and your shop will be featured on the homepage of Metmerize. After this 7-day period ends, you and your shop will automatically show up on our Editors’ Pick Page.


How does an item I list gets approved?
Metmerize’s team will review each item listed for sale. If the item/items, you submit for sale meets all of our requirements on Metmerize’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy page, it will get approved and ready for sale on your shop in 1-2 business days.


My listing did not get approved, why?
Metmerize emphasizes on the quality of the items you submit for sale, in case the quality of your work or any other aspect listed on Metmerize’s Terms of Service page does not meet our requirements and standards, we will not approve your listing/listings.


What if something goes wrong with my order?
By using Metmerize you acknowledge that Metmerize is not and will not be responsible for any dispute or conflict between the users, sellers and buyers.
Sellers agree to resolve any disputes directly with the buyer, according to Metmerize’s Terms of Service and Policies. Seller is responsible for delivery of the purchased item or items to the buyer, on time. Buyer is responsible for paying for item or items purchased, in accordance with the Policies and Terms of Service. Buyers agree to resolve any dispute directly with the seller, according to Metmerize’s Terms of Service and Policies.
